It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Matthew Guy on 3rd June 2025.
Matthew was a much-loved father, son, brother, partner, and friend. Driven, kind, and full of laughter, he was always the first to care for others and truly the heart of his family. His love, strength, and laughter will be missed beyond words.
A service to celebrate Matthew’s life will be held at West Wilts Crematorium, BA14 6HL on Friday, 4th July 2025 at 11am.
Following the service, all are warmly invited to continue the celebration of Matthew at The Longs, Steeple Ashton (BA14 6EU).
Family flowers only, please. As befitting of Matthew’s character, smart attire is welcomed, but wearing black is not necessary.
Donations in Matthew’s memory will be going to Mind, a charity fighting for mental health.

Miss you mate
Thank you for all your listening, all the bike rides, all the training time and all the exploring of UAE. You had so much to give. My time spent with you and Paddy was always special, but now it is truly cherished. Ride well my friend x
So many good memories, so many funny moments. More pictures of me taken by you which is slightly embarrassing! You listened to me drone on for HOURS out in the desert on our bikes, you ferried me around when I broke my shoulder. Paddy you and I 👌🏼
I’ve tried to find the words so many times, but nothing ever feels enough. So many brilliant memories. You brought light, laughter and kindness wherever you went. You’ll be deeply missed by so many, but never, ever forgotten.
