Marcus has been a great friend to me for over forty years. We started out as colleagues then became such good friends. Marcus was a true gent, always had the greatest respect for others. He had a fabulous sense of humour and was a kind and wise man who I could have amazing conversations with. I miss him greatly and think of him every day. One of his favourite saying was "Oh My Good Lord" whenever I spoke of some family drama in my own life. I miss him saying "Hello Matey" whenever he phoned and the times we spent reminiscing of the many happy times we spent together. Rest easy mate until we catch up.

Marcus, my dear old friend. Miss you daily and the extended Brough family hope that you can now rest in peace. We will all miss you particularly on Christmas Day and in the Merchants! Lots of love and safe passage to a true gentleman and the very best of friends.

A true gentleman, caring, kind and funny, one of a kind!
I’ll always remember the fun times on Saturday mornings at the bank in Leamington Spa and the pub afterwards.
