(1st August 2025) Thank you to everyone who has sent us messages and donations - we are all incredibly grateful for your kindness.
Two final cash amounts have been added to the totals; these were raised on the Golf Day and by John's National Garden Scheme (NGS) garden opening: Notts Hospice £233.50 and Maggies £205.30.
We are also very grateful to Lymns who have been both professional and so kind over recent weeks - thank you. Lymns have now closed off their part of the donations element and we will be distributing to the charities, shortly.
Mark's page will remain open for a while longer and any further donations will go directly to the chosen charity.
Thank you!

Mark Fraser (7th February 1963 - 2nd June 2025)
It is with great sadness that we share the news of Mark's death on June 2nd 2025. Mark was diagnosed with an aggressive Glioblastoma brain tumour in February 2024 and we were fortunate that wonderful care gave us several months of valuable time as a family and with our friends.
Mark's funeral will be held at St. Luke's Church, Hickling at 10am on Monday June 23rd. Family flowers only, please. The service will be followed by a family burial at Hickling cemetery. Following the service, we look forward to welcoming friends and family to The Plough, Main Street, Hickling.
Mark was very proud of the work done by the St. James's Place Foundation and we have chosen to direct donations through the Foundation because St. James's Place have very generously agreed to match these donations. Donations will be split between:
• The Nottinghamshire Hospice in gratitude for their kind and generous support when we needed it most.
• Maggie's Nottingham who are a small locally funded charity who offer exceptional personal support.
• The St. James's Place matched funding will be directed to charities supporting young people locally.
Mark's wit and humour and his love of friends and family leave us with the very fondest of memories.
Jane, Lizzie and Katie.
(17th June) We have also arranged for a video link for those who are unable to join us but may wish to be part of Mark's funeral from a distance; this can be viewed live (signal willing) or later as a recording.

(24th June) An edited version of this can now be found on this link and it will be available for 90 days: https://vimeo.com/1095614291/aed7709596
(24th July) We are so sorry not to be sending personal messages to everyone but we would like you to know that we are incredibly grateful to all of our family and friends who have (and still do) give us so much love and support. Mark was a wonderful man and it has certainly helped to read your messages and memories - thank you! Your kind donations will also make a huge difference to these local charities - a very fitting memorial to Mark, thank you! Jane, Katie, Lizzie & Rhys.
