Charlotte Wakley-Smith. Born 4th July 1990 to parents Ray & June Smith, sister to Michael Wakley-Smith. Charlotte spent her early years living in Eltham, before the family moved to Paddock Wood in 1999. Charlotte attended Mascalls & Hillview secondary schools, before enrolling at Eastbourne University to further her education.
Moving to London in her 20’s, Charlotte worked for Sweatshop & Oasis, before finding her true calling at Nike. Starting on the shop floor as a department coach, she moved her way up to assistant head coach before joining the People & Culture team at NikeTown. She loved her role and felt like she found her place and passion as a Learning & Development coach where she effortlessly made a huge impact straight away.
Making friends wherever she goes, Charlotte has always been a popular figure.
Heroically battling Cancer since her first diagnosis in 2022, Charlotte passed away on June 2nd 2025 surrounded by people she cherished the most.
Charlotte will always be remembered as the confident smile of every room & a cherished family member and friend.

Charlotte Wakley-Smith, forever 34..
