Our condolences to Marie's family and friends at this difficult time.
On behalf of all the patients and staff at St Leonard's Hospice thank you for kindly choosing to donate to the Hospice, in memory of Marie. We are forever grateful for the generosity that is shown to us, without which the work of the Hospice would not be possible. Thank you for honouring the memory of Marie in such a thoughtful manner and in turn, helping us to continue caring for others.
With warmest regards,
Amanda

In loving memory of Marie Judge who sadly passed away on 19th May 2025.
What do you say about someone like Marie? The kindest and most generous, helpful and most willing, a gentle soul who just wanted everyone around her to be happy.
For those of us fortunate enough to have had our lives enriched by her, we consider ourselves very lucky. Our lives were so much better with Marie in them.
Marie was a quiet reserved and respectful lady, she enjoyed many hobbies and was proud of her achievements but never boastful. Her proudest achievement by far is our son, Sammy. Everything she did was with him in mind. He was simply, her reason.
In the early days (and I’m sure surprising for some) a motorbike fanatic. Motocross and long-distance road trips across Europe, a great love. In competition with the motorbikes was her love of animals, particularly horses.
Her father was a photographer and throughout her life she shared his love of photography. She enjoyed golf, playing the piano and computer logic appealed to her analytical brain. She loved simple pleasures like long walks in the sunshine and baking the most amazing sweet treats.
I hope she knew how much she meant to all of us, the deep sadness we all feel because she will no longer walk into a room and light up our lives.
Marie’s final wish was to be buried, family flowers only and donations to Breast Cancer charities and St Leonards Hospice (she was sure she would have liked it there).
Forever in our hearts and missed beyond words.
