Ken Turnbull
Passed away peacefully on Thursday 1st May 2025, aged 84 years.

Loving father to Paula and Emily and cherished grandfather to Evie, Ben, Ethan and Hetty. Now reunited with his beloved wife Mary, he will be deeply missed by all his friends and family.

Funeral service to be held at Surrey and Sussex Crematorium, Crawley at 1:30pm on Monday 9th June. Following the service, afternoon tea will be served at Cottesmore Golf and Country Club.

As a work colleague, friend and neighbour for many years we spent many hours recently talking about old projects and village issues. Ken was a kindly and wise person who was well established in the village and he is missed greatly.

So sad to lose Ken. We worked together at Bechtel first in the late 70's on the Arun (Indonesia) LNG Project and later in the late 90's on the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (now called HS1). He was an excellent engineer and an effective project manger.
Very smart but full of good humor. One of the brightest stars of the London office in those days. RIP, Good Friend...

It was with great sadness both Daniel and myself David heard the loss of Ken he will be very much missed and working for Mary and Ken for 27 years is a long time and a family thing with my Auntie working with us in garden also and my Mum doing the cleaning.
