David Kenneth Bone (13 Jun 1949 - 10 May 2025)

Dave, we will miss seeing you swinging your club on your front lawn, practicing that perfect shot. We will miss the many takeaways and buffets we shared with and of course we will miss the games of UNO whilst you entertained us with your Dad jokes and magic tricks. These are great memories and we thank you for making them with us. You inspired everyone you met with your positivity and you will be sadly missed by us all. Paul & Val Bolger. Xx

Dave was a wonderful guy, he brought his enthusiasm and humour to everything and everyone, I particularly want to thank him for the golf friendly matches where he acted as a match day captain for the organisation and leading the after match stories and jokes.

Dave was such a wonderfully kind man and his friendship and support when Wayne was battling cancer was a perfect example of this.
Dave took Wayne to hospital appointments offering not just a ride , but camaraderie and companionship that help brighten the days.
Dave introduced 'BreakfastClub' which Wayne and his Dad looked forward to, sampling what the different local venues had to offer with added laughter and hope.
After Wayne's passing Dave's compassion didn't waver. He continued to check in on us all, bringing regular visits filled with stories, warmth and support. His kindness and generosity of spirit will remain with us and his smile and warmth greatly missed.

You were one of the first to welcome us to the village with your great sense of humour. You were always so positive and will be greatly missed. Much love to Helen Ellie and rest of your family Sue & Gerry

Dave was the most loveliest, kindest person, he truly had a heart of gold. I will always miss our chats over football and sports in the clubhouse after your golf, you’ll be missed by so many. Rest in peace xx

Larger than life, kind and big hearted. I'll miss our exchange of the cricket scores as we took it in turns to check and report back to each other at family gatherings over the years. Sending love to Helen, Ellie, Craig, Grant and Greg and all those lucky enough to have spent time in Dave's company xx

Dave was a great guy , I played golf with him on a few occasions, he was a great storyteller, he always put a smile on people’s faces. Dave will be greatly missed in our village. Sending my love to Helen , Ellie, and all the family.x x x Nick and Amy .

Dave was my boss (Seawheel/United Transport) for many years and he was a great & genuine guy, cared for his staff and looked after us well whilst showing his great personality. He will be sadly missed.

Dave, there are no words to describe how sad we are feeling, we miss your visits, you were always positive, miss breakfast club, we miss seeing you not standing there when the door bell rings, you were especially good with Wayne, the two of you were great pals, you was a kind and compassionate person, we shall always remember you
