In loving memory of Richard Ballard who sadly passed away on 4th May 2025. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
Our dad was one of a kind with a witty dry sense of humour. He was always there when he needed to be. A jack of all trades but predominantly a very skilled carpenter with a passion for his work and very precise. Covid caused an earlier retirement than planned but he loved to potter at home, making things and driving his neighbours crazy with Star Trek booming through the walls.
He fought a tough but short battle in St Helier Hospital with ILD (Interstitial Lung Disease) which was exacerbated with Sepsis. Not helped by the Covid and Pneumonia he contracted whilst in hospital as his immunity was so low. He wasn't alone and passed away peacefully surrounded by love on Sunday 4th May 2025.
Jamie and I are very grateful for the love and support shown. RIP Daddy xxx
