In loving memory of Darren Giles who sadly passed away on 25th April 2025.

Both myself and Ciaran would love to see as many people who knew our Dad at a Celebration of his Life and would ask that you share this page to anyone who you think may have known him.

We would also be so grateful if you could let us know if you intend to come to the service and or the wake afterwards by clicking on the Attend Funeral button.

Family flowers only please, there will be a donations box at the service and the family would be most grateful for any financial donations to help towards the cost of the funeral please.

Dress Code for the service, anything you are comfortable wearing.

In the comments we would love to hear your stories about how you knew our Dad and any photos you may have of him please upload.

Thank you to everyone who is supporting us at this difficult time.

Ryan & Ciaran

Thankyou to everyone who came yesterday and to those who couldn't make it but sent well wishes.
Darren had a great turnout yesterday and we can only hope that we did him proud with his final farewell.
The boys especially will now feel a void whilst the chaos of prepping and planning dies down and they learn to navigate a new chapter without their Dad.
Thankyou again to everyone who has supported & shared memories and photos.

Just heard the heartbreaking news today on Facebook about Darren's funeral. I would have been there if I had known earlier. Absolutely gutted.Darren and I were childhood and teenage friends — we spent so many great times together playing computer games, riding bikes, and later on, cars. Like so many have said, life pulls people in different directions and sadly you lose touch. He actually reached out to me in January about a reunion, which I couldn’t make.I want to send my heartfelt condolences to his family. Rest in peace, Darren you’ll always be remembered.

I knew Darren back in the day in Luton, I think I was about 12 when we first met. He was always a joker., we had some great laughs all of us over the years. Peter, Terry, Andy, Scotty, Scott, Nick, Karen, Jane, Nicola, Claire, Sara, Rich, Aggie, Chappie, Nigel, Christine, Little Nick, too many names to mention. Sadly, we lost touch when I moved away in 2002 and we all grew up (allegedly) and had our families. I was so sad to hear of his passing. Thoughts are with the family 💔

Darren, we had very funny times when working together. 8 years of noise and laughter, the man who could get away with the crudest of jokes, changed office humour forever. Quoting headlines from the Sun and of course having his opinion on the daily news. Gone too soon but never forgotten. RIP mate.
