In loving memory of Michael John McAlpine who sadly passed away on 18th April 2025 after a short illness, he will be sadly missed by his wife Anne, daughter Lisa, son in law Abdul and grandchildren Jazzy and Amelia.

He loved cruising and we were lucky enough to visit many beautiful places together, his other passion in life was supporting his beloved Southampton FC, every Saturday afternoon 3pm everything stopped for football.

He adored his grandaughters and loved holidays and days out with them.

Once he retired from courier driving he volunteered at the Market Place every Wednesday morning which I knew he thoroughly enjoyed.

Family flowers only please, donations can be made to Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance should you wish to donate in his memory.

Mick, I’ll miss our chats about Saints, and our shared passion for the team we love. Your light shone bright today at St Marys as Saints fought hard to secure the point they needed against Man City. You would have been so proud. Saints will always be forever in our hearts, just like you. ❤️

Mick will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind a loving wonderful family and our hearts go out to them. Our family had the privilege of living next door to Anne and Mick for over 15 years. They became friends as well as neighbours, going above and beyond. Our son Ryan used to stand out the front and look at the Moon with Mick on many many occasions. Now that Mick has passed and is free from pain we look at the Moon with Ryan and say Goodnight Mick.

Mick we remember you for the New Year's Eve parties. They were such a laugh. The most memorable time was 1999 when at midnight you dropped the glasses. We would tease you about being a Saints fan and us Nottingham Forest. We remember you always smiling. You will be sadly missed.
