Eddie brought happiness to everyone's lives. He was incredibly kind and caring. A very loving husband to Katie who was looking forward to celebrating 25 years together this year. Father of Ashley, Joe and Adrian. He was very proud of all his children and will be sadly missed in their lives. Son in law to John and Cynthia whom he treated as his own parents. A proficient and super keen cyclist, he loved to spend days racking up the miles on Strava. Always there for friends and family when they needed him.

Had some epic days on the bike with you Eddie. But my favourite has to be when we did London in a day. If it wasn’t for you I probably wouldn’t have got into cycling again and I’ll never be able to thank you for that. Rest easy old pal
