Had the pleasure of knowing Terry as a work colleague and friend as he neared retirement. Always laughing
and joking, a thoroughly
nice guy!
Rest peacefully Tel

Thank goodness for me turning 50! Seeing Terry dance all night, so happy and full of life is a memory I will cherish. Seeing you with my mum is something I will never forget. Keep dancing Terry 💔

Unfortunately I am unable to attend the funeral and celebration of life in person, but I will be thinking of Terry and his lovely family.
Terry (Gaffer) was a superb gentleman full of life, and always willing to help others.
Terry was the manager of our football team back in the 80’s and as well as managing the football I look back now and see how he actually impacted us for the rest of our lives. Installing life lessons, one in particular being that results don’t always go the way you want, but the effort and perseverance that you put in will be the defining factor.
I will be forever grateful to my gaffer for the lessons he taught and am so glad that I had the opportunity to meet up with him in my adult life thanks to his beautiful daughter Kerry whilst in Dubai
It will be a sad day that this great man will be laid to rest.
Rest in peace gaffer, your match is won !!!🏆
Gone but living in us all xxx

  • Oh Martin, what beautiful words! Thank you. Dad loved his time managing the football team when you were kids, and he cherished even more meeting up with you in Dubai and reminiscing in recent years. He would be proud knowing he was thought of so lovingly and remembered so fondly. X
