In loving memory of Sonja Eleanor June Wicking who sadly passed away on 24th March 2025.
Sonja was born in Farnham, Surrey and married John Wicking in 1968. They moved to Swindon where John ran the Stroud and Swindon Building Society and Sonja was the personal assistant of Les Leston (the racing car driver).
When John died in 2018, Sonja came to live in Uvedale Hall in Needham Market.
Sonja was very keen on Horse racing , so one of her preferred charities is the Injured Jockey Fund; she had a love of nature so another favourite charity is WWF; and, since John died from the effects of Bowel Cancer we have added Cancer Research UK.

Dearest sonja. It was your husband John that I was a carer for but from the first time I met u, we just clicked. You were a bubbly, funny,inspirational lady. And when your lovey husband John passed away. We became closer..(even though it was against my employers policy to keep contact with you)... im so glad I met you. I will miss your smile. Laugh and sense of humour... RIP my dearest sonja xxxx
