I was devastated to hear the news about Tony. I worked closely with him at Meta and he was the kindest, funniest and most down to earth boss that I’ve worked with. Sending love to his family.

We can’t believe you are gone. You were a wonderful father & husband - always there for us and taking care of us. We had a fabulous life together and we are forever grateful that we had that. We will miss you and love you more than you will ever know RIPx

I am so very sorry and deeply saddened to learn this news. I worked with Tony at Ofcom. He was the loveliest man, kind hearted, generous with his time and cheerfulness and always made us laugh. He was so well regarded and respected and I know that he will be greatly missed by so many.

I first met Tony at the Broadcasting Standards Commission in 2000. He had a great sense of humour and I often found myself stopping by the office he shared with Dave Best for a chat and a moan! On Fridays ,at the insistence of Norman Maclean, we would find ourselves in the Westminster Arms. When we finally became part of Ofcom our paths crossed less but we always stopped for a catch-up when we bumped into each other. I left Ofcom in 2013 but kept in touch with a couple of colleagues. I wasn’t surprised when I heard that Tony had become a Director. Then when Meta offered him a job and Tony took on his global role it too came as no surprise. He was a good man and I am thankful for knowing him.
