I was so sad to hear of Ian’s passing 😢 I spent a lot of time around the Maroondogs back in the 80’s . I always enjoyed his drum solos. RIP Ian xx

I am saddened at Ian's passing and my thoughts are with family and friends.I organised countless functions in Whitfield and Dover over a 25 year period and the Maroondogs featured in at least 30 to 40 gigs. Our association grew stronger as the years went on. They were a great bunch and indeed a wonderful band. Ian was brilliant on the drums and I always requested 'Diamonds'where he played solo. His vocals were pretty good to!He had a quiet demeanour with a lovely smile. Great memories! RIP mate!
