I can't believe it's been a year since you left us so suddenly. It broke my heart to think you passed away without a good bye. I have to hold on to all the fantastic memories we have and will always have. A fabulous family amazing holidays and I will love you forever ❤️. Till we are together again. I love you and miss you so much. So much has happened, that I wish you were here for. I finished my degree, I bought a house. I wish you were able to see me achieve these things. But, I know your with me all the time. I feel you, you’re apart of me. Gosh, all my life everyone would say how me and mum would take after you, from our crazy sense of humour, to our loudness and drinking 😂. For that I am so proud, proud that I have your name, your humour, your ability to have fun and make people laugh. You’re my grandad, I am so proud. I think about you everyday. I love you

So I have re-written my message about 5 times. Nothing right now will explain how much I miss you. It’s Christmas and you loved Christmas. Grandma has put out your bells, but there is something missing. It’s you. You’re so missed and loved by us all. I hope you’re having your whiskey up there and setting your alarm for 6am because SANTAAAAA IS COMINGGGGG. I will make sure that try to enjoy Christmas, we will raise a glass to you, I’m sure you’ll be happy to hear that. I love you and miss you so much grandad.
