Dear Ps Meldrum and family we are sending you our heartfelt sympathy and offering our prayful condolenses on hearing this sad news. It must be such a shock to your system even if you know she is now with our Lord God.
Please be assured that we are praying that you will take heart in knowing she was loved by whom ever she encountered. She was just such a sweet, faithful and caring person as you both were to us whenever we visited ANC Kennington. We thank you and Auntie Sylvia for your loving care of us. Sending much love

Dear Pastor Meldrum, this is a message from my entire family. Our love and thoughts are with you and your family on the passing to glory of Sister Sylvia. What a gentle souls she was. A truly lovely Godly woman, who was there for all of us in our happy times and the very challenging ones as well.

She is undoubtedly with the Lord, promoted to a higher level. The Palmist says that very well when it reads, “precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of a Saint.”.

It is encouraging, and consoling too to know that for the redeemed death is not the end.

The Lord is the stronghold of your life.

John, Genevieve and family.

So very sorry I can't be at the service today. Sylvia was such a Downton earth, beautiful woman of God whose life consistently portrayed her Saviour. She touched my life with her down to earth Christianity. She will be missed by many. We are praying God's grace and peace for Ian and the family. Your loss is heaven's gain.

She was a very kind, loving, caring, prayerful lady and an inspirational woman of God who always had a smile on her face.

Sister Sylvia was a real blessing to my wife when she was in charge of the book stall before the start of the Sunday morning services.

We pray that you and the entire family would be comforted by the Holy Spirit at this time. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.
