In loving memory of Norman Alfred Pearson who sadly passed away on 27th December 2015 aged 80.
No floral tributes by request, but mourners are welcome to bring a single red rose to the service with a message or memory attached for the family to read later.
In place of floral tributes the family request donations to the Rowans whom cared for Norman in his last days.

Norman was a loving and devoted Husband to Kathy, Father to Bob, Dave, Paul, Wendy and Karen, Grandfather to John, Chris, James, Jessie and Ellie and Father in law to Claire, Rob and Theresa.

In his early years Norman was a telecommunications officer in the RAF and traveled all around the world with his family living life to the full and making many memories, Norman was never one to miss a party or opertunity for a gathering wether it be with family or friends, Over the years i have heard many stories of life in the RAF, Many of which are not for to young an ear.
After life in the RAF Norman lived in diffrent locations across England with his family in varying roles, He finally settled in Portsmouth where Kathys family originated and worked in the HMS Dockyards in the Comcen again in telecomunication.
Norman loved life and enjoyed many pastimes, He loved to Fish and spent many a day on a river bank with his mate and brother in law Chris and son Paul, He also enjoyed travelling and spent many years travelling to Anna Maria Island in Florida a favorite destination, He soaked up island life spending days in the sun, exploring the bars and eateries and fishing of course.
He was a strong family man Norman and Kathy brought up 3 generations of children and did an amazing job with them all instilling into them their morals giving them the encouragement to be what ever they wanted to be with much love and support an imparted into them his love for life.

Norman will be sadly missed by family and friends alike we invite you to leave messages, stories and memories for us to look back upon in celebration of his life.

Norman, my sole mate
So many memories you've left behind sitting on riverbanks, or by the sea fishing rods in hand. Long family walks with kids in tow. Service life that we enjoyed with friends that will always be, holidays both near and far. Florida sunsets over the piers, caravan's and scenic trips we enjoyed them all. Life's ups and downs that we have weathered together, nights spent cross-wording while listening to classical music. Or family gatherings with children/grandchildren who think the world of you. Your strength to endure without complaint this nasty "C" that stole you from us way too soon yes so many precious memories.
Goodnight Love you forever proud to be your wife, your soul mate Kath xx

Dad you are "truly, madly, deeply missed", you taught me so many values as a father many off which I am truly grateful for and I am proud to say that "I learnt from the best" when bad manners arise. I took great pride in letting you know and anyone else that would listen that I was in "total awe of this man and everything he has gone through in his cancer journey"............Dad I am and always will be proud to have been your daughter xx
