Grandad, thank you for all the memories and laughs. I will always remember when you and Nan used to come and stay and us kids would end up in the bed with you in the morning for cuddles lol
My fondest memories are watching cartoons with you! You would always laugh more than anyone else which would make me laugh more. You never held back with your opinions and sometimes that made me cringe. I hope you are at peace and with Nan. Love you forever and always X

  • Beautifully written Amie ❤️💔❤️ Ah granddad and his opinions -That reminds me of the time granddad and I had a debate about tattoos...he then he told me about the octopus tattoo from a James Bond movie he admired (something about secret women's club) so I went and got a decent tattoo of a blue ringed octopus with lady eyelashes just for him ❤️ We we're all blessed to have had him in our lives in one way or another...I miss his jolly "Father Christmas" styled laugh x

Oh granddad, our granddad where do I begin....Thank you for being an amazing guiding light in my life for the past couple of decades. I always enjoyed writing letters, phone conversations and our online messaging. You have been a person whom I could go to for advice, whether it be gardening advice, life advice, any advice. There was no judgement and always a-level ofunderstading between us that I'll che I miss our debates and chats and sharing photos with you. I laugh at the memory of us finally agreeing that Ryan get his olive skin complexion from both us, and how uncanny we both thought it was that Ryan is your doppelganger after you sent us the black and white photo of you as 17 year old handsome young man. I cherish all the photos you sent us,every single one.

Although I'm on the other side of the world and have never met you in person, you have been there for Ryan, Zavier and I in our tough times.

You will live on in our memories fondly granddad, and although I'm already missing our daily/weekly chats online, I know you will be watching over us all and I take comfort in that thought.

Thank you for being you and accepting me for the person I am. I love you like you were my own grandfather. I will make sure your memory lives on in your great grand children Ryan and Zavier.

All my love always granddad, Lilla

Rest in peace uncle Fred. I’ve so many lovely memories of you from when I was a child, teaching me to waltz and dancing around with you holding my hands with my little feet on top of yours. You have always been a true old school gentleman. Thank you for always being so kind and for finding me again. I will miss our chats. Lots of love x

  • We will miss Fred popping in, he was a true gent and made us laugh out loud with some of his stories. So sorry for your loss, you will have many great memories to hold on to. Mum and I both wanted to come to the funeral but she has been in pain with her leg and although it’s a little better dont see it improved enough for tomorrow. I’ve had flu so waited so as not to infect you all but am improved so am hoping to make it. Have clicked on the box to attend, hope it’s ok. Love to you all from us all. Andrea x
