On 27th January 2025, whilst being cared for at Overgate Hospice, of Mirfield, aged 64 years, Vaun, much loved husband of Yvonne, a loving dad to Stephen & Claire, cherished grandad to Kieran, Tommy, Jamie-Leigh, Olivia, Jessica and Daniel and a beloved brother, brother in law and uncle. Funeral service will be held at Huddersfield Crematorium on Thursday 20th February 2025 at 2.45pm. Friends and family please gather at the crematorium. Family flowers only, donations in his memory may be made online or placed in the collection box provided for the benefit of Overgate Hospice and the RSPCA.

Only just heard about Vaun today and was very saddened to learn of his passing. I have some great memories of Vaun from my younger years. Here’s a photo from the early 80s, which really captures his character . RIP
