In loving memory of Graham Rainbow who sadly passed away on 21st January 2025

Graham was the type of person who made friends with everyone - from the staff in the local Tesco's, to the station staff at train stations - he would chat to them all!

His love of trains was well known and he loved to stand (later sit!) on a platform and collect the train numbers. Often, again, whilst chattering away to friends and people he had met.

Graham had a love of life and a determination to keep going, even when his physical health deteriorated. He was constantly a glass half full person, believing he could defy any medical odds (and often doing so!)

He will be so very missed by his family, especially his children and grandchildren. They will miss his updates on petrol prices, his never ending belief he was going to win the premium bonds, his love of a good deal and his delight in food and, in particular, ice cream.

What a lovely man he was; always had a story to tell when we met up at the end of platform at Stratford.

I only knew you from your visits to Strood Post office where I worked for many years before retiring. You always had a smile, was polite and an absolute pleasure to serve. Rest in peace in your heavenly home x

Thank you for all the lifts Graham! For playing Dancing Queen in the car on repeat so it is etched in my brain and will always remind me of you. Thank you for being a beautiful soul and such a lovely person. I will remember your love of trains, Take That and being such a loving father to my best friend Esther. May you live on in all the smiles you brought and through your magnificent children and grandchildren!
