As a little boy growing up, I always looked up to you, Uncle Sid You were more than just an uncle to me—you were an inspiration. Watching you, I’d think, “Wow, my uncle’s a major!” You were always so elegant, fit, and carried yourself with such grace. Your sense of style was unmatched, always dressed perfectly for any occasion, standing out in the best way. The way you held yourself, with such confidence and poise, shaped my idea of what it meant to live with elegance at the highest level. Thank you for being such an incredible role model. Today at your funeral, I send blessings to auntie Fran and Louise and I know uncle Sid you’ve gone to join the Lord and we will see us in the coming future. Psalms 34:18 (NIV)

A sad day but made so much easier with all the supportive thoughtful positive and poignant messages, beautiful flowers, cards, being there if not in body, in spirit and to everyone who made the day so special and possible. Thank you. Thank you all for making me realise what a special dad / Sid I was privileged to both have and share! A huge void but lots of wonderful happy memories.
