Peacefully passed away after a long and full life on January 18th aged 94 years, Ruth.
The loving wife of Alan. Much loved Mam of Lynn and the late Keith also a dear mother-in-law to Keith. The adored gran of Ian, Richard and Ruth. A cherished great-gran to Liam, Luke, Thomas, Ben, and Olivia. Also a very special sister-in-law to Joan. Dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends please meet on Tuesday 11th February for a service in St. Michael and All Angels’ Parish Church Houghton-le-Spring, at 12:15pm. A committal will follow at Durham Crematorium.

All are welcome after the service to Houghton Dairy Lane Bowling Club for refreshments and to continue the celebration of Ruth’s life. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers are kindly received in Ruth’s memory for the great work of Erskine Veteran’s Charity. A donation box will be available at the Bowling club.
