In memory of my beloved son James James James Grout.

Please feel free to add photos and stories as they would be nice to see and read, thanks.

In loving memory of James Grout who sadly passed away on 2nd January 2025.

James was born on the 1st October 1994 to proud parents, Emma and Christopher. Three years later becoming an older brother to Mitchell in 1997. James was a very loving boy and liked fun and adventure, often spending fun packed weekends with his grandparents, Pauline and Pat.

James started his school life at Wyborne Primary School and started to enjoy sports of which he often excelled at, such as Gymnastics and Karate and loved nothing better than going down to the lake with Dad and Grandad and enjoying a bit of fishing. He then went onto secondary School at Crownwoods, where he was a popular boy and made some great friends.

When he left school he had a few jobs but ended up becoming a pump engineer in his 20's for various companies often working long and strenuous hours.

James was often described by friends and family as a lovely bloke who liked to crack a joke or two and found humour in most situations, even in some unlikely ones, some would say slightly warped humour but in a good way. He was always the life and soul of a party, often being the first up to dance to songs like the Macarena or any party song that a crowd would love, we've even heard he tried the lift from Dirty dancing.

James leaves behind two wonderful children, full of beans and a chip of the old block. James through and through.

this has left the whole family with the biggest hole in our hearts but we are very blessed to have had James in our lives.

I’m still waiting for my phone to ping… an inappropriate tag in a video, a silly selfie, a filtered Snapchat or a long voice note of you mugging me off or waffling about a dinner you’d made! I miss you. Fly high Grout 🪽🤍
