In loving memory of Alan Norman Bacon who passed away peacefully at the Royal Derby Hospital on Monday 6th January 2025, aged 87 years.
Much loved husband of Barbara, father of Andrew, Linda and Simon, grandfather to Enrique, Luis and Mateo. Will be missed by all, including Tabby the cat.
Born in Normanton, Derby in October 1937 growing up in Norman Street in his early life. Joined the RAF and maintained aircraft abroad in Aden. Lived his married life in Littleover until shortly before his passing.
Worked for over 30 years for Rolls Royce before retiring before later working for Derby City Council as a Park Ranger.
A supporter of The Rams - Derby County as a season ticket holder and later arm chair supporter listening to Radio Derby.
