Jacqui and I met in 1989, as I started civilian life. She empowered and mentored me, giving me opportunities to qualify and improve in all aspects of Youth work and DofE. On a CSLA Course having given everyone a military style warm up, and wearing them out before even doing any sports activity. Jacqui said she would get me back, and she did.Jacqui laughed at me trying to do the Cha Cha dance in my normal military stiff body way. Jacqui also looked after my sons whilst we carried out expeditions and the photos of her immaculate kitchen after Josh & Reece had been baking in it were legendary. Jacqui was never really my boss, yes she was my manager, but she was so much more, she was
my mentor, adviser, guide, inspiration but most important of all she was my friend. Jacqui actually helped me through my minor cancer treatment before she she had hers and I will never forget the compassion support, advice, help or love she showed me, when I was at my lowest. I will never forget Jacqui and what she did for me. A lady of the highest standards who gave to others with no hesitation.

Am completely lost for words, only learned of Jacqui passing yesterday. Jacqui was my NVQ program accessor for 3 years 2019 - 2022 - suffice to say she became more than a tutor - she became a mentor and a true friend and someone I could trust and rely on. She truly cared. I will miss her terribly - sending my love to all of you at this very sad time x

I will never, forget the help you gave me when I was struggling with my youth work qualification, I would have dropped out if it hadn’t been for your support. One of the nicest people. x
