So sorry to hear of the passing of Rob Butler. He visited me when I was working in Nicaragua in 1987, and he was a great support for any technical problems that I was facing.

The death occurred at home on Saturday 28th December 2024 of Mr Robert Alexander Butler affectionately known as Rob, aged 69 years of Landshipping.
No formal funeral service will take place.
Funeral arrangements are being carried out by E.C. Thomas & Son Funeral Directors.

It's almost 40 years since we last flew together, and almost as long since we were last in touch, but Rob played a big part in some of the most significant stages of my life, and I'm very sad to hear that he's gone. Many terrific memories, all of which raise a smile.
