Margaret and I were so saddened to hear about Simon's passing. I shared a flat in London with Simon in the 1960's and have many interesting and happy memories of that time while Simon was trying to solve London's transport problems. We are sorry that we will not be able to attend the funeral or wake in person but hope to be present online. Our love and best wishes to Pippa and all the family.

We met Simon and Phillipa forty years ago and have always enjoyed their company ever since. Simon was an exemplary father, husband and friend, and he will be remembered with love and respect by all who knew him. We send our love to all his family, who will miss him deeply

Simon was a colleague in Transmark and projects subsequently. His work on railways in the UK and elsewhere have contributed to making the world a better place and I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Although I cannot make the funeral and reception, I have made a contribution to the selected charity.
