It is with deep sadness that the Kent Family announce the passing of Jill Rosemary Kent on 6th December 2024, aged 82, at Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, following an accident in Paris in September. Devoted wife to Jimmy; loving mother to Tracey and Gary; a caring grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all friends and family.
Family flowers only please, but if desired, donations in memory of Jill can be made to Headway – Norfolk and Waveney or The Stroke Association.

Jill …. Such a formidable force of a lady, one of life’s ‘givers and do’ers’ ….such a loss to her community. Rest peacefully Jill. X

So very sorry to hear of our cousin Jill's passing, we are the daughters of her Aunt Phyllis in California and have lovely memories of mom talking about letters and phone calls with Jill that kept her in touch with her and other Flaxmer sisters and cousins...I was lucky enough to have tea with Jill in May 2023 and she was such a lovely woman, she will be greatly missed...Georgiann

A lovely photo of Jill, from 2013, at the village cricket match, where she was, as ever, Queen of the teas.

Jill was an exceptional and outstanding lady whom you always knew would get things done if she said she was going to do it. A ready smile, a steady hand and always, words of wisdom. She will be sorely missed. Stacey Whatling
