In loving memory of Terence Edward Dimsdale who sadly passed away on 30th November 2024

Dave Stone wrote

My wife and I lived nextdoor to Terry and Violet for two years, from right at the start of lockdown through to the beginning of 2023. We got to know each other talkng between the gardens, Terry and I often sharing beers over the fence. They were the warmest, friendliest neighbours you could have hoped for, always ready for a natter, Terry there with advice if the mower conked out or Violet popping over to feed the cat when we went away. Later we would regularly stop by for coffee and chats - Terry was full of stories about growing up in Deptford, meeting Vi, and later the live jazz scene in pubs on Blackheath.
We moved away after that, but stayed in touch, hoping on video calls with the pair of them and later, of course, heartbreakingly, with just Terry.
I miss them both and I am sorry to all of you for your loss. Unavoidably, I can't make the funeral today, but I hope you are all able to give Terry a great send off.
All the best, Dave

July 2024 Oak Pub London Terry had said the open mike night wasn't all that , but we actually had a really good evening , Terry got talking to a couple of musicians , he was half cut buy the end and we walked back for fish and chips via cherry orchard.
