In loving memory of our wonderful Dad, Steven Robert Graham who sadly passed away on 29th October 2024 πŸ•ŠοΈ

Afterglow

β€œI’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun;
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done”

You were the kindest soul and had the brightest smile.

We were lucky to have time with you so thank you for all the laughs, memories, food, drinks and stories shared.

You will be truly missed, still doesn't seem real.

Thank you for letting me always third wheel you and Jen when Dan was at work. Thank you for all the fun we had together.

We say goodbye tomorrow but it's only in this life. Our love and thoughts are with Jennie, and we know you will be up there waiting for her because love like yours and Jens will never fade.

Going to miss you Steve.
Love Dano & Becs xxx

Steve, I never got to meet you. I moved away from the U.K. before you and Jennie met and I always felt that I was leaving her behind and that she was missing something in her life. That something was true happiness and confidence which you gave her, Steve. So I say thank you Steve for that love that you shared . Thank you Steve for making Jennie truly smile again . And thank you Steve for making those precious memories with her that she will cherish forever. May your light shine bright forever x

The few times I met you Steve, you left a lasting impression. Made me laugh when you mooned us when we were having a photo taken, to make us laugh naturally. Good sense of human and a top bloke. You and Jennie were a great couple. May you rest in peace.

  • Totally agree with pol, he was an amazing trainer at Samaritans, so genuine, and open about his insecurities which made us equally free to share. A lovely, funny man, such a genuinely nice person. So very sad for his family and jennie( who I’ve never met) but sounds a special person in Steve’s life. A very lovely man , Steve your family must be so proud of you. So proud to call you my friend xxx

Steve,

Your compassion was admirable, your humour was infectious and your heart was so full of love for others, it's no surprise that you are loved by so many in return.

I am so grateful that we had what would end up being our final conversation and we made our amends as you were once a very important part of not only my life but Tristan's too.

Thank you for being his buddy. Thank you for being his role model. Thank you for stepping up when others let him down. But most importantly thank you for loving him.

My thoughts are with your loved ones, especially your children and grandchildren.

I hope that you have finally found peace.

xxx
