In loving memory of Rodney Kilbee who sadly passed away on 27th October 2024, aged 80 years.

Beloved husband, father, grandpa, friend and teammate to many. Forever in our hearts and memories.

Bob Preston donated £100 in memory of Rodney

We have sadly lost a true gentleman and sportsman, who had such a positive impact or influence on the lives of so many. A real friend and a person you naturally respected for so many reasons. I shall miss the amusing little chats we always had in our accidental meetings all around Folkestone over recent years. RIP Rodney and huge condolences to all the Family.

Rod, we will miss you very much indeed. Such a remarkable chap, on so many levels. Thank you for your friendship, the conversation, the laughter. It's still hard to believe you won't walk through the door of Finn's or the RC again and come and sit with us to chat about your day, your family, sport, the hockey club lunches, and so many other varied topics. We honestly thought you would be around for years to come as you were still so active and healthy.
Thinking of you Rod and your lovely family xxxxx

I still find it hard to believe Rod has gone so suddenly. He was fine the last time I saw him recently. We had many good times together, latterly with the odd glass or two of red wine at each others houses. His daily visits to Pam showed the character of the man.
Best wishes to Chris and Annie - well done for organising an impressive send off at the church and at 3 Hills afterwards.

Rod was always so kind to me, and welcomed me into the Kilbee family home. Have such fond memories especially of Christmas. A great man, and love reading all of the brilliant Rod stories x

This is sad beyond belief. We have known each other for more than 70 years. He was a sportsman in every sense of the word. There are not many left of the team that I captained but this is the deepest loss of all. I am absolutely devastated.

So very sad but what an amazing life and positive influence on so many. As others have said, part of a really great time of my life and wonderful, hilarious times at the hockey club.
