I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of Gladys. I have very fond memories of her while she worked at Stanton Primary School when I was a pupil there in the late 60’s to early ‘70’s. She was one of the loveliest people you could ever wish to meet.

Nan, you’re so special to me. The memories I have from my childhood with you and Grandad are so loving with fun times. From our sleep overs to playing on the log up the lane and strawberry picking with you, getting the biggest ice cream after holds very special moments in my heart. The holidays we had were so special, especially grand canaries. With you visiting New Zealand so many times Jane, Alex and I have such warm and loving memories with you Nan.
Nan you will be missed so much, I love you. Rest in peace, love Ian , Jane and Alex xxx

I have wonderful memories of Aunt Gladys, especially from when I was a child, and I will always hold dear the times we spent together as a family. A very gentle and kind person my Aunt Gladys was the epitome of a true lady, and she will be sadly missed, not only by me, but by all who were lucky enough to have known her. xxx
