We have fond memories of going to see and staying over in the summer holidays at Auntie Brenda's. We would enjoy our day trips out, with the little bags of sweets she always kindly brought us.
She was always smiling and full of life and always thinking of others, showing this by the thoughtful newspaper cutting that we often receive in the post. She will be greatly missed.

As a friend of Helena I never really knew Brenda but the many tributes here show what a very special person she was. Brenda had such a zest for life and brought kindness to everyone she met. We knew her through town twinning, as John's partner for 7 years and have many happy memories of times shared. She loved to travel and to meet new people, We know many of those whose lives she touched will miss her, as we will.
