So sad to say goodbye to Jacqui, she was an incredibly caring, funny, strong woman who we will miss greatly. It was an honour to meet the rest of her family and friends last week, after my 22 years of friendship with Katy and family. Love and condolences to everyone in her wider family. Thank you Jacqui for all your support to my family over the years, we will miss you.

I met you 12 years ago as a neighbour and it wasn't long before you became a friend. You always had a smile on your face and plenty of wise words when I needed advice. Thank you for being there. I miss you lots already and I will think of you often.....especially when I have a 0% Guinness xx

You always gave me lots fuss and insisted my Mum's let me off my lead so I could raise round the garden playing with Stuart. Even running off round the house searching for socks or standing and barking outside the door where I know Stuart's food is you never got fed up with me. Me, Stuart (and Pudsey when he visits) will continue our walks and play dates and compete for food bribes when we are out. Thanks for all my fusses and treats 🐶

It was such a privilege to know Jacquie and have her as my aunt. She was the most lovely, caring and warm person. I will always remember our family visits to Goose Lane. Aunty Jacquie was a wonderful host and cook. I always appreciated seeing the love between Jacquie and my Uncle Gareth as well as my cousins, Katy and Charles. They all looked after and gave her the best. I always felt at home in their house. We shared a love of dogs and I cherish my memories with Matt, Beau, Mazy, and most recently, Stuart. I am so upset I will not be able to make it to the funeral, but I was so happy to be able to visit this past summer. I will always remember Jacquie and was so lucky to have her in my life.

Jac was my oldest and dearest friend. We met 55 years ago at Wickersley High school and over the years our friendship grew.
She was kind, generous, caring and witty. If I needed a helping hand, she was there.

Have a well deserved rest, I will miss you.

The Old Bird xx
