Sad to hear this news. Ian was a splendid man to have known and work with. I had the opportunity to catch up with him for a pint earlier this year and it was good to see him.We talked of old times and good times. He will be missed.

Can't tell you how gravely sad I was to hear of Ians passing. 98-2003 I was an apprentice at Elsym Burton and latermy a colleague at Pandelco under Ians guidance and friendship and can honestly say it made my working life as a young man vastly better. Thats just how he was. Wickedly funny, naturally kind, intelligent and with a real love for music and his running/cycling...just an all round wonderful fella. I and many other ex-colleagues will remember him always. Sincerest condolences to his nearest people /Dave

Heartbreaking news to hear. Ian you were such a great bloke to know and I’ve had so many fond memories and laughs while we were out on runs with the lads over the peaks. Especially of you trying to catch the little lamb. Sleep tight mate.

So sad to hear this sad news, he was a fantastic man who was a work colleague to Andy and a fellow runner at Hatton Darts Running Club. Andy Learnt a lot from Ian when he first started work at Pandelco and Ian was a great mentor.
We will both miss him. Love Andy & June xx
