It was an honour to have met you at the Clayton parties, you made me feel so welcome the first time I met you. It will not be the same without you there, but you will always be remembered x

My quirky fun loving uncle who always took the time and interest in mine and my siblings lives showing how you always cared about family. Will miss you and our football banter loads. I'll regret not being able to see you one final time or remind you that you supported the wrong team but the fact you did made it all the more fun.
Thank you for what you did for me and my sister when we were young, it was needed and will never be forgotten.

When I think of David what springs to mind is the love we both shared for ScFi specifically Startrek and how in 1979 I watched the motion picture at David’s house on a black and white television set via cable that David had somehow tuned into and received for free. Even though the picture was scrambled and blurry and in black and white we both sat in awe watching this blurry picture of spock and the crew of Startrek in the motion picture.

I will also always remember David smoking cigars and playing Colnel Abram’s I’m So Trapped on his car stereo and his 12’ inch version of Johnny hates jazz Shattered Dreams on vinyl.

David was a kind loving genuine and honest soul who truly cared for others well being.

You will be missed, but always remembered in our hearts

Love you now and forever

Mathew

My dearest son, David. I am sorry I was not able to be with you in your last moments of life. But I know we will meet in the new Kingdom on earth when we will be young and healthy again and will enjoy the real life. No more sickness, pain or death!! This is true, because it is God’s promise in the Bible. I love you, dear son. Mum.

Steve and I have been spending extra time with your dear Mother, Jean, since we heard that David has fallen asleep in death. We have all been so sad to know he is no longer with his daughter and other friends in the UK. But we are happy to know that he is no longer suffering and know the wonderful hope of the resurrection that is recorded in the Bible.
