I was at school with Jon .By coincidence we chose the same career in the marine business and crossed paths within the Industry, we worked together at the London boat show, when I left the business I would visit Jon at various shows ,I was always guaranteed to receive a warm welcome and his lovely sense of humour it was really sad and shocking news my condolences to Jon’s Family x

I also went to school with Jon and only saw him very occasionally after, but will always remember his simply lovely, genuine, funny and caring soul...something not so well appreciated in our youth but time teaches well. So very sorry to his family for such a horrible loss but hope the knowledge he touched so many for so long might help somehow x

I went to school with Jon and became good friends with him especially after we left school when he lived in Dorking , spending some very special times together.
Unfortunately we kind of lost touch when he moved to Nottinghamshire and so I was so shocked to hear of the very sad news.
He was a brilliant and genuinely funny guy . I shall remember him very fondly.
My sincere condolences to his wife and children.
