Andy passed away peacefully on the 14th July 2024 surrounded by his loving family. His funeral will be held at Holy Cross Church at 1:30pm, then on to Gedling Crematorium for 3pm. The family will be raising a glass afterwards which everybody is very welcome to join.
The family have requested no flowers but for donations to be made to Nottingham Maggie’s Centre which was a very special place to Andy and family. Maggie’s offered endless support and most importantly a safe place for visits from his grand-daughter during hospital stays.

The family do not wish to impose a dress code upon attendees, however, some family shall be wearing black but will have a hint of scarlet somewhere as a nod to Andy’s favourite Thunderbirds character, the indestructible Captain Scarlet. We are happy for anybody who wishes to, to join us in this.

It was a privilege to know Andy. Always calm, always saw both sides of a story and was always just 30 seconds away from making you laugh. He was just a good human being, the kind we should all aspire to be.
