The definition of a Gentleman..My dad
As Gentle as he was a man..
Never wronged a soul
A heart that was pure, caring and whole.
A bad word..he never did speak
His persona loving and meek
His life..lived honest and true
memories made with a special few
I’ve no doubt I caused him grief in my younger years, provoked some anger and frustrated tears,
but age came to me and changed my ways
and I like to think I gave him many happy days. Made him smile, feel good for a while.
I will miss you dad for every day I live and breathe
hopefully it’s just “see you later”
That I do believe…
