Beatrice, or Betty as she liked to be called when I first met her, was an amazing and strong woman who was very independent: she never asked for help although she gladly accepted it. She had a great sense of humour, particularly about incidents that she was involved in. She will be greatly missed. I send my love and condolences to her family, especially Ken who will miss visiting her.
