In loving memory of Kathleen Ann 'Polly' Hodson who sadly passed away on 2nd May 2024.

Beautiful wife to Dave. Wonderful mum to Sarah, Debbie and Andrew and the most amazing Nan to Mia, Dylan, Jamie, Polly and Archie.

Polly’s funeral will be held at Northern Cemetery, Hemphill Lane, Nottingham, NG6 8PF at 1pm on the 30th May 2024.

Dave and the family would like to invite those attending Polly’s funeral to celebrate her life afterwards at The Railway Club, Bestwood Road, Bulwell, NG6 8UA.

Flowers may be sent to C Terry Funeral Services, 244 Bulwell High Road, Bulwell, Nottingham, NG6 8NU.

We have added a link for a donation page to Nottingham Hospitals - specifically Ward A23. The nurses on this was are nothing but angels and the care and compassion they showed to Polly and to us was wonderful. Alternatively, Nottinghamshire Hospice who provided care at home during the night so that we could get mum home where she so desperately wanted to be.

Andrew, Polly’s son is also arranging a charity football match at Eastwood Town Football Club on the 30th June 2024 at 4pm….all welcome and all proceeds going to Ward A23 at the QMC.

To our Aunty Poll
One amazing women ✨️
Nothing was ever too much for you ❤️
I have so many beautiful memories of you, of time spent together when I was younger. You were my second mother, guiding me, loving me, helping me find my path as a mother myself.
You always treated me as one of your own, never excluded me, always made me feel loved. You then extended that love onto my children, treating them as your own.
You were always so strong, giving strength or words of wisdom.
Aunty Poll was meant to live forever 💔
You have been so much to me Poll, aunt, friend, guide, confidont, inspiration.
You will continue to live on in us all 💖
Love you millions
Rachael & Ian xxx

My beautiful mummy
Where do I begin? I am so blessed that I got to be your daughter. We have had so many special times together and I will never ever forget the bond we shared as mother and daughter but friends too.
I’d like to thank you for helping me raise the children and I promise that I will continue to make you proud.
You were and are my everything.
I promise to look after dad.
Good night god bless mum, I will love you forever.
Your loving daughter, Debbie ❤️
