Today, on your birthday, my heart feels both full and heavy. Full because of the love and memories you left us with, and heavy because I wish so much that we had more time together. Life just moves so fast — and looking back, I wish I had slowed down more, been present more, spent more time with you.

You were such a strong man, full of quiet wisdom and endless skill — always fixing, building, helping. Your hands were always busy, but they were never too busy for your family. You were the one we could rely on, and that kind of strength leaves a lasting mark.

Me and all the kids miss you so much. We feel the space you left every day. But we carry your memory in the way we live, in the things we do, and in the values you taught us.

I find comfort in knowing you are now at peace in the presence of Jesus, free from pain, made whole again. we hold on to the hope of reunion — that this goodbye is not forever.
