In loving memory of Jennie Moira Roberts, who passed away peacefully on 9th April 2024 at Fair Havens Hospice after a three-year struggle with Progressive Bulbar Palsy, a form of Motor Neuron Disease.
We invite friends and family to celebrate Jennie's life with us on Thursday 9th May 2024 from 3pm BST, starting at the west chapel of Southend Crematorium in Sutton Road and continuing at Rochford Hundred Golf Club, where Jennie was a member for many years. A light buffet will be served with tea and coffee. A bar will also be available.
Dress code:
There is no dress code; feel free to wear something cheerful if you prefer not to wear black.
Flowers vs donations:
Although close family will bring flowers, one of the few gifts Jennie could enjoy towards the end of her illness, we ask that you consider making a donation to one of Jennie's favourite charities instead, if possible. Links are included on this page and further information about Jennie's support for these charities will be included on the order of service to help you decide.
