Auntie Joan, you’ve been such a huge part of my life and I feel very lucky to have had you as my Auntie. I will always remember you as one half of the tapping twins and as we lay you to rest today I hope you’d have been proud of all the lives you touched and the wonderful memories we have of you, you truly were one of life’s special ladies. We will miss you lots 🥰💖👯‍♀️🪽

Aunty Joan - one of my favourite people in life! As a child I thought you were wonderful, your stories of ‘the tap dancing twins,’ (you and Aunty Peggy, also my favourite!) ‘the ghost of Tantarara,’ (you don’t need to know anymore about that one!) and the ‘icing on the buns story’ all just filled me with joy!
You had such a warm heart and a sense of fun that were infectious. You were so
proud of your family and loved them so much. Your memory will always bring a smile to my face and the love for you will live on. Rest in peace Aunty Joan xx
