What a woman ❤️ you are the true definition of a fighter. What a cruel condition Parkinson's is, yet you took everyday in your stride and didn't let it define you. You showered your family and family with unconditional love and affection, and put others above yourself.

My earliest memories are of you zipping around in your little red car and also when you dressed up as and hippie for a family fancy dress party. You had a yellow outfit and green hair!

I remember from a young age learning about the research that had been conducted in America regarding the treatment of Parkinson's. I rang my mum straight up excited that there might be a cure and it might be available in the UK a few years down the line. When that day does come, if we're all here to witness it, we will think of you ❤️ If I had one wish, it would have been that we could have fast forwarded this process to find something that could have helped you ❤️

Love you Auntie Sandra,
Rest in peace as you are reunited with Mama and Grandad (he'll be waiting to torment you 😂)
Love Kim
Xx

To my dearest sister,

I have spent many hours chatting, laughing and smiling with you. It's been such a pleasure and will stay in my heart forever. This illness has taken a lot from you Sandra, but you fought it till the end. You never complained, you welcomed everyone into your home with a big smile on your face. Lucky for us all, it never took the love you shared with all your family. I love you Sandra and I am so proud to call you my big sister. I miss you so much already, I'll be waiting for you to visit me 👭💖😇🪽

Love Always Gill xxxxxx

I was fortunate enough to have met Sandra and spent many hours with her and mick. She was an inspiring, caring and wonderful lady. The love she had for those around her was abundantly clear. She loved being a mum and a grandma and this positivity spread to those around her. Rest easy knowing you had a positive impact on the world around you.

Joshua xx
