In loving memory of Carole Kiorkian who sadly passed away on 30th March 2024.
Carole was the warmest, kindest, funniest person you could ever wish to meet. A wonderful loving wife to Ara of over 45 years. The best Mum to Anna and best friend. Loving sister to Jane sharing childhood and adult memories together. Carole was also a cheeky mother in law to David, the two sharing banter all the time. She was also such a proud and fun Grandma to Ella and step Grandma to Cameron. Her family was her absolute world and she doted on us all!
Carole was by profession a state registered nurse for over 40 years. A career that took her to many different hospitals, departments and care homes. These included Grantham Hospital, The General Hospital, QMC, Paybed, The Convent, The Firs, The Manor, Beeches nursing homes with more in between.
She was born to be a nurse, such compassion and a love for what she did.
Carole loved nothing more than a good Greek holiday, sitting on the beach with Ara by day and indulging in local cuisine and of a course a G&T by night.
She'll undoubtedly be remembered as a fantastic cook (so many have sat round tables filled with her amazing food over the years), a wonderful friend to all and the most generous, loving, fun-filled wife, Mum, Sister, Grandma, and cousin to her family. ❤️
Words cannot express the void left by her passing. Our world, our everything.

Carole was a special member of the family; she knew our history and our ancestors with names and relations more than anyone else. She had amazing memory and capability to remember everyone she met and talked to, even for a short period. She was brave to leave England and follow her heart to the north of Iraq in the seventies to places where we haven’t yet been. She had always stories to tell from the past and the present. Someone who you can’t forget. Rest in Peace. Our condolences to Ara and Anna.
