On 28 March 2024, peacefully at his home in Middlestown, Wakefield, aged 95 years, Alan, beloved husband of the late Jacqueline, dearly beloved father of Stephen, Christine, Debora and Sarah, a dear father in law and much loved by his seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral service will take place at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium on Wednesday 17 April 2024 at 2pm. Friends and family please gather at the crematorium. No flowers and wear something bright by request. All enquiries to George Brooke Ltd. 01924 454476.

So very sorry to learn of the death of an old friend, Alan Thomas.
We have happy memories of times spent in the Woolpack Inn at Whitley.
We now live in Spain and have lost touch with old friends over the years, but we still have our memories.
Our daughter, Susan is currently visiting us in Spain and she too sends her condolences and
also has happy memories.
Our thoughts are with Alan's remaining family and particularly Stephen, who we all knew best.
A life, well lived, RIP Alan. We send our condolences, Brian and Doreen Tattersfield.
