My lovely friend Bev, your heart was as big as the sky, I loved our time working together on ICU, you were a kind dedicated nurse who I looked up to…..many times you went out of your way to catch up with me when I visited home in the Uk. So many great memories with you and the family growing up and ones that will stay with me forever xxx

We grew up together Beverley - from babies, had family camping holidays, day trips, birthday parties, fancy dress, formed dance troops, had street parties, fashion shows, made mixer tapes, had midnight feasts, camped out when we were older (went on secret midnight trails!), swapped clothes, fell out - always made friends - we certainly had a lovely childhood together.
You then brought other lifelong friends into my life (Vanessa). We went through nurse training a couple of sets apart, then lost touch after I moved away. Reconnected a friendship at distance through the gift of Facebook. Followed each others joys and trials of motherhood - your tragedy with Archie and our recent thrills of becoming grandparents.
The pain your family have already gone through is so cruel. I cannot believe that another life filled with so much love and fun can end so prematurely, creating even more pain - may you rest in peace my dear old friend - in the arms of your beloved boy xxxx
