John and Min were really nice to me and my family. They have invited my parents to their home for tea when they visited us and also sent them lovely presents before they left. I really love John’s jokes and his hearty laughter. I did visit Min when she was at the hospice but due to COVID, didn’t have a chance to chat to him before he moved to stay with his family far from Toton. I will always remember John and Min for their kindness. They two are my example of good marriage. Hope they too can have more laughter together.

John and Min were great friends, I went to see him in the care home, but I’m not sure he remembered me. So sorry for your loss and that I will be unable to attend the funeral as we are on holiday.

Thanks Hilary, that's really kind. And thanks for visiting him too. It was a nice care home and he seemed comfortable and contented there. Sometimes he was more lucid than others, you may have seen him on an off day. But it was lovely that he always recognised his immediate family when we visited. Must be awful for your nearest and dearest to become strangers
